These Senior Classes are an important piece of the services Framingham Garden Club offers the community. Our members share the joy and enthusiasm of creative expression with our senior neighbors, who look forward to these workshops every year. The next senior workshop at Carmel Terrace will be on November 16, 2018 at 3 pm.

On Oct. 18, twelve enthusiastic senior residents at Heritage at Framingham Senior Living Facility created beautiful Fall floral arrangements with the help of FGC members Peg Homberg (in photo), Jane Paolini, and Marilyn Hanley.

Cranberry, orange and lime green mums were plentiful, as well as a fun scarecrow to complete arrangements and enhance the creative fun.

Residents said they were happy to bring the arrangements back “to brighten their apartments” and they thanked the Framingham Garden Club.

On December 20, 2016, Framingham Garden Club members spent a lovely afternoon conducting floral/plant design and crafts workshops at Hastings House with one goal in mind – to encourage the art and joy of floral design in our senior community.
