Rooted in History and Still Growing presented by Framingham Garden Club

Framingham Garden Club will host its first National Garden Club Standard Flower Show in 26 years at the Village Hall, 2 Oak St., Framingham, MA on Sept. 16 and 17. This major two-day event, “Rooted in History and Still Growing,” will feature floral designs, horticulture exhibits and educational displays to honor what made Framingham special in the past and what makes it vibrant today. Past pillars of the community, such as Christa McAuliffe, Meta Vaux Warrick Fuller and Henry Knox will serve to inspire floral designs. Current treasures of our community, Framingham State University, the Danforth Museum, and our Public Libraries will also serve as design stimuli. It is your chance to see 48 floral designs created by our members inspired by important aspects of Framingham’s history, and over 100 horticulture exhibits from our members’ floral and vegetable gardens.
