Framingham Garden Club’s first online holiday Green Sale is shaping up to be a great success. The Patch and Metrowest Daily News recently covered the sale . Our members have put countless hours into making this happen. Shown are club president Andi Saari and Membership Chair Joan Johnson.

Say It With Flowers!
Framingham Garden Club Presents: “Say it with Flowers”
Award-winning floral designer Thelma Shoneman will create six inspired and expressive designs, explaining the symbolism and meaning of flowers and the messages they send. Her designs will be available as raffle prizes. Before the main event, enjoy light refreshments while you browse carefully curated gifts, baskets and other prizes, including a selection of wine donated by our members. Buy a balloon and find your lucky gift card!
Doors open at 6:15pm for refreshments and raffle shopping, 7:15pm for Thelma’s presentation, followed by raffling of her designs.

Artifacts in Bloom
The first week in April brings Framingham’s first “Artifacts in Bloom.” Explore history and design through floral interpretations of some of the History Center’s most significant pieces. Ten artifacts have been chosen from the Center’s collection to be interpreted by our designers.
This special exhibition celebrates Framingham Garden Club’s 85th Birthday in collaboration with the History Center of Framingham. Artifacts were selected from the Civil War, WWI, Women’s Suffrage and Victorian Era.
The exhibit will be held at the Framingham History Center, 3 Oak Street, Framingham, on April 5th, 1:00-5:00 pm and Saturday April 6th 10:00 am-4:00 pm. There will be an Opening Reception on Friday, April 5th from 5:00-7:00 pm.…

Framingham Garden Club awards four scholarships
In May 2022, the Framingham Garden Club, Inc. awarded four $1000 scholarships to local students who plan to degree in environmental or related areas orf study..

Garden Club Goes Back In Time
A large group of Framingham Garden Club members attended a special tour at the Framingham Historical Center entitled “Stitches in History,” presented by the History Center’s Curator, Stacen Goldman.
On February 2, 2017, FGC members were treated to a display of clothing that spanned the years 1772-1927. All of the clothing was actually worn by Framingham women. The exhibit consisted of a selection of 13 dresses from the FHC’s massive collection of over 300 items.
We would like to thank Meg Kelley from the Garden Club for arranging this special tour, and especially Stacen Goldman and the History Center for keeping Framingham’s past alive so vibrantly.…
