Showcasing our Garden Delights live horticultural show
The club is back to in person meetings, following COVID protocols. Once again our members brought horticultural specimens to highlight the successes from their gardens during the past summer. This year’s show, “Showcasing our Garden Delights,” was held on September 15 at our first meeting of the 2021-22 season.
Gardeners reported prodigious blossoms on their hydrangeas, thanks to an abundance of rain this summer.
The show features cut specimens of annuals, perennials, roses, bulbs/tubers, foliage,edibles, and herbs.

2020 Green Sale as seen in the News
Framingham Garden Club’s first online holiday Green Sale is shaping up to be a great success. The Patch and Metrowest Daily News recently covered the sale . Our members have put countless hours into making this happen. Shown are club president Andi Saari and Membership Chair Joan Johnson.
The labor of love continues through December 3. Check back frequently as stock is added.
Say It With Flowers!
Framingham Garden Club Presents: “Say it with Flowers”
Award-winning floral designer Thelma Shoneman will create six inspired and expressive designs, explaining the symbolism and meaning of flowers and the messages they send. Her designs will be available as raffle prizes. Before the main event, enjoy light refreshments while you browse carefully curated gifts, baskets and other prizes, including a selection of wine donated by our members. Buy a balloon and find your lucky gift card!
Doors open at 6:15pm for refreshments and raffle shopping, 7:15pm for Thelma’s presentation, followed by raffling of her designs.

Framingham Garden Club, Inc. Celebrates 85 Years of Community Service
Members of the Framingham Garden Club, Inc. celebrated eighty-five years of carrying out their mission of education, conservation and beautification as they relate to design, horticulture and gardening in our community on December 12, 2018.
Just days before the Framingham Garden Club celebration, members had staged their annual Greens Sale to raise scholarship funds. The sale is five days of intense work and community building. The members were eager to celebrate their hard work, not only of the past, but also of the present as they gathered outside Plymouth Church’s Parish Hall where the event was held.…
